Iarnród Éireann signs the Employment and Youth Engagement Charter.

Developed alongside employers, the Charter is a government initiative that helps those who are at risk of not moving into employment. This includes those with disabilities, members of the Travelling community, refugees, returners to work, family carers, homeless people and those who have spent time in prison.

As a signatory, Iarnród Éireann commits to a number of actions such as supporting the hiring of Intreo candidates, offering advice to jobseekers on searching for jobs, writing CVs and interview prep, and helping to reduce youth unemployment by recruiting young people with the support of Intreo.

The Charter was signed by Director of Human Resources, Ciaran Masterson, alongside the Secretary General of the Department of Social Protection and 18 other businesses across the public and private sector taking up the cause to help vulnerable communities into employment in Ireland.
