Aircoach

Aircoach is Ireland’s premier transport services provider linking our airports and cities. With routes connecting Dublin Airport to Cork, BelfastDerry/Londonderry as well as three to Dublin City Centre and onward to South Dublin and Wicklow, it is a proud new member of the Supporting Quality campaign. 

Aircoach is part of First Group plc which is one of the UK and Ireland’s largest transportation companies with more than 13,000 employees. Aircoach independently employs over 300 staff, manages a fleet of 61 vehicles and serves over 2 million passengers yearly. It also provides car park and shuttle bus services including operating all car park shuttle bus services on contract to the daa.

An Aircoach spokesperson said: “At the heart of our corporate social responsibility initiatives lies our partnership with St. Michael’s House, to which an array of services and assistance are provided to individuals with intellectual disabilities, as well as their families. This partnership has evolved into a vital aspect of our commitment to community engagement.

“Aircoach is committed to environmental sustainability and it is central to our future corporate strategy. In 2023, we became a founding member of Mobility Partnership Ireland. This alliance brings together key players in shared and sustainable mobility operations across Ireland.”

SIPTU Organiser, Andrew Quigley, said: “Aircoach is a company which engages in collective bargaining with its SIPTU members. It is a service which all SIPTU members can use secure in the knowledge that its staff have the opportunity to organise into our Union and achieve the benefits which being in an organised workplace brings.”
